For the James Sanders Fine Art project, the goal was to create a compelling e-commerce website with a virtual art gallery design. Mirroring the experience of physical art galleries, the design centered around clean, minimalist website aesthetics, a carefully considered balance in color contrast, and the strategic use of whitespace to ensure the artwork remained the primary visual focus for online viewers and potential buyers.
To achieve a genuine gallery feel, I utilized a combination of professional photography and advanced photo editing for online galleries using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. While the site was developed on the Squarespace e-commerce platform, I leveraged its inherent features in conjunction with custom Squarespace design through coding and visual manipulation to effectively execute the specific requirements of this online art showcase.
Beyond the core website design, I also developed various engaging social media graphics for art promotion across different channels. Additionally, I created compelling promotional materials to build strong brand awareness for James Sanders Fine Art, ensuring a consistent visual identity both online and offline.
