For the Wandering Willow project, a neighborhood coffee shop and bookstore, I was tasked with a complete branding and web design overhaul. This involved a rework of the company logo, establishing a new warm color palette for branding, and creating a responsive website design that aligned with the overall desired theme.
The client envisioned a design that conveyed a warm and inviting atmosphere, incorporating colors, textures, and imagery reminiscent of cozy cabins and classic bookstores, while also featuring subtle whimsical design elements.
To achieve this, I developed a minimalist logo design that integrates playful structural aspects. The primary font selection echoes those often found in fairytales, contributing to the whimsical feel.
The color scheme, site graphics, and textures were carefully chosen to evoke the warmth of a fireside gathering and the comforting ambiance of a traditional bookstore. These elements work together to create a welcoming online presence, allowing visitors to almost feel the texture of the wood and the inviting warmth. The goal was to craft a strong brand identity and an engaging online experience for Wandering Willow.
